Media Monitors Releases 2009 Television Totals

White Plains, NY (February 3, 2010) - Media Monitors, the leader in broadcast and cable monitoring, released the 2009 TV SPOT TEN® showing the leaders in broadcast advertising in the last year from markets we monitor.

On TV, the #1 advertiser last year was Wal-Mart with 686,264 spots. ABC TV was #2 with 682,593 spots, while NBC TV was #3 showing 601,238 spots. VERIZON was #4 airing 563,168 advertisements and CBS TV was #5 running 533,606 spots. THE CW NETWORK was #6 with 473,276 ads, while MCDONALD'S delivered 448,395 ads on TV and came in #7. AT&T was #8 with 418,020 and FORD LINCOLN MERCURY hit #9 with 398,918 spots. FOX TV was #10 running 391,572 ads.
