Media Monitors Releases 2010 Advertising Totals

White Plains, NY (January 4, 2011) – Media Monitors, the leader in broadcast and cable monitoring®, released the 2010 Radio, Cable TV and Broadcast TV SPOT TEN® reports showing the leaders in advertising from last year.

In radio, GEICO took the top honors with 2,298,351 spots in 2010. At the Cable markets that Media Monitors watches, GEICO was also the top non-Cable advertiser coming in at #8 with 1,003,454 spots. On TV, They came in #18 with 325,208 commercials.

The biggest non-TV advertiser on TV was Ford Lincoln Mercury with 628,247 spots. They were also #12 on Radio with 557,742 ads. And on Cable, they came in #12 with 716,505 spots.
